Here's a step by step guide to make your own Christmas presents place mat which you can make into a table runner and even coasters to match! The fabric I've used is the new 'A Christmas Tail' collection from Craft Cotton Company that was designed by Debbie Shore. I love this collection because its a story of the mice on Christmas eve and what they get up to before the big day, Debbie wrote the story herself!  This Christmas project is great for beginners and is an easy way to decorate your table around the festive period! Hand Warmers Tutorial What better way to keep your fingers warm on these winter days than with some cute hand warmers! I've made them using the Scooby-Doo fabric range from Craft Cotton Company for a nostalgic feel. They are the perfect size for adult hands, if you'd like to make them for kids, you'll need to take the measurements down slightly. They are really easy to do and I've even added an elasticated strap to them to keep them secure on your hands. There are 2 shapes to choose from, or make them in any shape and size you'd like! For the filling you can use- uncooked rice feed corn cherry pits flax seed barley oatmeal beans wheat Once they are made, just pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds or less then enjoy! Lunch Bag Set  A great way to be more eco-friendly in your everyday life is to find new ways to package your food when you’re out and about, either at work, school or out for a picnic! I’ve made an easy lunch bag and matching sandwich wrap which is reusable, so no more wasting plastic food wrapping. The lining is made from PUL which is a laminated, waterproof fabric and can easily be wiped clean. Be sure to buy PUL that is BPA- and phthalate-free when using it for food products. I’ve made these adorable pyjamas and eye mask using the Simplicity pattern 8806. I’ve adapted the eye mask from a cat to a rabbit to suit the Miffy fabric and theme! Here’s a guide to using this pattern as well as step by step instructions with pictures to hopefully you’ll find it really easy to follow. This is the first time I’ve made a top or trousers so this was a really fun project.
